The University of Arizona's Track/Road Racing team began in the fall of 1997. This was a direct result of the momentum and interest generated by the elite field of racers who competed in the 10K wheelchair division 
of Jim Click's Run 'N' Roll. The team participates in many of the popular road races including: The Jim Click Pony Express, New Times, Tucson Marathon, Gasparilla Distance Classic, Carlsbad 5,000 and the Peachtree10k. The team will also be active at the Far West Regional and National Track Championships. Training consists of a combination of road work, roller workouts and practice at the University's beautiful Rincon Vistatrack facility.
