Testing Accommodations - Process Change

IF YOU TAKE TESTS AT THE DRC, PLEASE REVIEW THE FOLLOWING CAREFULLY TO
UNDERSTAND A PROCEDURAL CHANGE

Dear Students,

As you know, staff in the testing area tell you the "stop time" for your test when you pick up your exams. This is based on the length of the tests in the classroom and the amount of extended time that you have as
a reasonable accommodation. Students have been on their own to monitor their time during tests and complete their tests by the established 'stop time'. In general, students complete their tests on time;
however, sometimes students continue to test beyond their extended time period.

Beginning April 7, if your test time is up and you have not come to check out, DRC staff will come into the test area to pick up your test. Please complete your test immediately when you are asked to by staff.
If you believe that your extended test time is not sufficient, please see an Access Consultant to request a review of your accommodations.
