The Inaugural Berkeley Prize Teaching Fellowship
Expanding the Universe of Design:
Applying a Neuro-Architectural Process to Create Accessible Cities
UA Disability Resources is proud to partner with the College of Architecture, Planning and Landscape Architecture on the first Berkeley Prize Teaching Fellowship. This year there are five inaugural fellows for this international award, two from the United States; the three proposals represent the UK, Africa and India.
The UA's proposal “Expanding the Universe of Design: Applying a Neuro-Architectural Process to Create Accessible Cities,” will look to infuse concepts of Universal Design into architecture curriculum. The project is directed by Dr. Eve Edelstein in collaboration with her studio colleagues and UA Disability Resources staff.
