Peer Support Program

Sessions will be held on Tuesday’s  at the DRC by appointment or walk in between the hours of 10am-5pm and Wednesdays 12pm-5pm

This semester, Disability Resources is hosting Gaby Ficchi from DIRECT Center for Independence. She will be providing Peer Support for students with disabilities.  The program is free and Gaby is here to support you with anything regarding issues relative to disability and/or college.

Examples include:

  • Navigating campus life
  • Adjustment to disability
  • Connecting you to community resources
  • Learning independent living skills and more.

She is also looking for students who are interested in becoming a mentor to others. It’s a lot of fun and looks great on your resume! Sessions will be held on Tuesdays at the DRC by appointment or walk in between the hours of 8am-12pm and 3pm-5pm.
