According to the most recent U.S. Census, people with disabilities make up at least 19 percent of the U.S. population. Training sessions are designed to give attendees valuable information and practical tools to better represent and include the disability community in all forms of media. This training is sponsored by the National Center on Disability and Journalism, in partnership with The University of Arizona, funding and support from the Arizona Developmental Disabilities Planning Council.
A continental breakfast and lunch are included.
