Lunch Discussion Disability Studies in Arizona with Matthew Wangeman

Join Disability Advocate Matthew Wangeman for lunch and discuss disability studies in Arizona. Schedule for the day:
- 12:00-1:30 PM: Lunch and discussion amongst DSI, Matthew and students and faculty from the University.
- 1:30 - 2:30 PM: Video discussion with students and staff from NAU and NAU4All.
Matthew Wangeman has been a disability advocate and activist for over 30 years at the local, state, and national level. He has a B.S. in Business Administration and a Master's in City Planning from the University of California at Berkeley. Matthew assisted in the development and implementation of the Disability Studies Minor at Northern Arizona University. Matthew was the chairperson for the Arizona Developmental Disability Council several years ago and he was also a board member for the Protection & Advocacy Agency in his state. He is especially proud of his seventeen year old son who he loves and admires! Matthew is currently a Professor of Disability Studies at Northern Arizona University.
