Instructors have the opportunity to design learning environments that are inclusive to all students. When we eliminate the curricular barriers that exclude certain students, we create an environment in which all students can succeed and learn together.

When academic requirements present barriers to students with disabilities, reasonable accommodations may be necessary. Accommodations are determined on an individual basis and should not reduce academic standards.
